First, the warning of the soft cliffhanger is true.
A harsh exhale whooshed past her lips as she pulled herself up. All books need to be read in order and are not stand alones. There is so much going on with the pack and we want it all so it made complete sense. I was actually surprised how kind I felt that the author was to Bray, given his past actions, and how I grew to love and respect the way this book turned my heart towards him. Reaching into his tunic, Otabek pulled out some bread and handed him. See if you have enough points for this item. Thank you for the warning Nora. I'm not a big cliffhanger person but this series is full of them and I've gotten used to it. You'll thank me. If you are like me and have been reading the books as they come out, you will be chomping at the bit for the next one.
They are that good. Now for the meat and potatoes of the review.
We are introduced to a new tria First, the warning of the soft cliffhanger is true. We are introduced to a new triad with this story.
Bray, the oldest child of Grayson who's story was the previous one, is an unintentional asshole that you like despite the Alpha arrogance, and is head of security for the pack. Kean is a balls-to-the-wall beta like his younger brother Palani, and works with the pack's animals and aspires to be a full veterinarian.
Then there is Ruari, a runaway omega with a newborn and a few secrets of his own. Their dynamic is a circling of the three of them in different pairs to become the threesome they are meant to be.
It's a slow burn and we were warned that their story is not complete and will be resolved in the next book. Nora did a great job of keeping us on tender hooks so that we can see the love blossom between them in "real time". Just like books one and two were given to the original foursome that started this pack towards becoming wolves again, Bray, Kean, and Rauri's story continues the overall pack dynamics with the outside world as well. We see snippets of Vieno, Palani, Enar, and Lidon's lives-- along with Grayson and his boys, Lars and Sven-- as they continue to grow too.
We see more of the what the foursome can do when threatened, especially when a pup is involved. There is sadness and humor, angst and love, and for all the fated mates, continuous working on their respective relationships. It's not just rainbows and unicorns but a realistic picture of an evolution of pack dynamics, and the individuals who make up this pack, in this universe. The pack is coming together as a pack.
I can't wait to read about the next installment. We are im patiently waiting, Nora. Nov 10, Tracey rated it it was amazing. I have to say that is no longer the case, I am hooked and cannot wait till the next release in this series. I have to say Ruari just grabbed me by the heart from the start with his seemingly fragile beginnings to becoming so sassy and confident. Oct 21, Xanthe rated it it was amazing.
Ahhhh this series is killing me, it's so good!! We gave the overall story arc that's affecting everyone and then the individual matings happening. This story follows Bray, Kean and Ruari and is spread over two books, this being the first but book four overall.
Nora is great at giving each character their time in their POV. It gives us a chance to learn about them, their relationship with the others and how they are a part of the pack. But we are also given time with the other main characters from Ahhhh this series is killing me, it's so good!!
But we are also given time with the other main characters from previous books, which helps give us more information about the story overall and see their own relationships progressing. I love this as it's not something you get in other series, instead normally just staying with the focal relationship of this book. The three main characters in this book are wonderful to read.
A fantastic mix of strong and vulnerable, love and dislike. And now we have babies in the family. Vienno gave birth to Hakon at the end of book 3 and Ruari has his own son, Jax.
They're adorable and give the men more to care and protect for. The story that is going on throughout the series is becoming more intense, affecting more people both within the pack and outside. I cannot recommend this book and series enough! It's intense, romantic, loving and stressful.
Everything you need for a good book :- I received an ARC and am happily giving a review Jul 10, Christy rated it it was amazing Shelves: bought-this-book , fantasy-paranormal-science-fiction , on-my-kindle , m-m-m , shifters , m-preg. He is still young and has no interest in being attached to anyone or in a committed relationship at this point in his life.
When he almost attacked Sven when the young omega went into heat and Bray was completely at the mercy of the Melloni gene pheromones, Bray was and still is ashamed and mortified that he almost hurt this young man. Bray is a good man but he believes his life partner is going to be a sweet, quiet omega who will bear him alpha sons. I wanted the laugh.

Kean knows he has some sort of connection to the alpha, just not sure what it is. But when the omega Ruari come to the ranch with his son he develops feelings for him too.
When they are threatened by fanatics wanting the son of the alpha, they learn that they are best when they work together. The new information on the Melloni gene is pivotal to the story. I would of liked their tale to be more complete, but the author felt these guys still had to much to say, so HFN is ok. I received an arc of this book. Nov 23, Kevin rated it it was amazing. Tip: don't read the character list at the start of the book as it spoils the story. Another entry in this excellent series.
An obnoxious alpha gets taken down a notch in a good way , there's a father-son and brother-brother reconciliation of sorts, a new character is introduced, and there's a showdown. Plot hole: an father is asked if he still would have liked to get to know his kid if it had been anything but an alpha, but as far as the reader knows the father does't have any information about this fact. Oct 14, Kathryn Manzella rated it it was amazing. The Irresistible Omegas series just keeps getting better! We also get more action from the previous characters in the series, more information about the threats to the pack and some adorable babies. This book has the hot sex of the previous books along with the sweet moments of true loving.
The world created in this series by Nora Phoenix is incredibly e the series gets better and better with each book The world created in this series by Nora Phoenix is incredibly entertaining and each book sucks me in more and more with its originality and uniqueness. I voluntarily leave my honest review and recommendation. Oct 16, Julie rated it it was amazing. And the overarching plot gains momentum as one of two factions puts the pack in its sights again.
I almost felt bad for him. Super fun series with only one crit that probably has no place in an omegaverse like this: no women at all? Read it!
